Digital Rupee i.e. E-Rupee has now become a reality in the country. Meanwhile, country’s well-known industrialist Anand Mahindra made his first payment through this. After leaving the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) board meeting on Wednesday, he made a purchase using it and shared its video clip on Twitter.

Digital Rupee of RBI has been started and now it has become very easy to make payment through it. Mahindra & Mahindra Group Chairman (Mahindra & Mahindra Chairman) Anand Mahindra posted through his Twitter handle that he has made the first payment through E-Rupee. While testing this e-rupee, Anand Mahindra bought fruits from a cart through it.

Mahindra Chairman Anand Mahindra wrote in his tweet (Anand Mahindra Tweet), ‘When he was thrown out after joining the board of the Reserve Bank, he bought fruits from a child Lal Sahni selling fruits on a handcart near the bank and paid R- Done through Rupee.’ He told that the testing of digital rupee was a good experience and Bachan Lal is the first merchant in the country who is accepting payments through e-rupee.
