Avocado- Blood pressure patients must consume avocado. Avocado contains vitamins K, C, B5, B6, E and monounsaturated fat, which helps in keeping your heart healthy and reducing the risk of stroke. Avocado also manages the level of good and bad cholesterol in the body.
Tomato- Tomato is rich in many nutrients. Vitamin A, B, K and C are found in it which is considered very beneficial for skin, eyes and heart. Apart from this, potassium is also found in plenty in it. It lowers cholesterol, blood pressure and the risk of stroke.
Apple- Doctors recommend eating an apple daily because eating it can reduce the risk of many diseases. It also helps in controlling the cholesterol level. A fiber called pectin is found in apple which helps in reducing bad cholesterol. Along with this, it also protects the muscles and blood cells of the heart from getting damaged.
Citrus Fruits- Citrus fruits like lemon, orange and grapefruit also help in controlling your cholesterol level. Citrus fruits contain hesperidin, which lowers high blood pressure, stroke and cholesterol levels. Apart from this, the risk of stroke in women is also significantly reduced by consuming citrus fruits.
Papaya- Fiber is found in plenty in papaya. Along with controlling blood pressure, it also reduces bad cholesterol. A large papaya contains 13 to 14 grams of fiber. Eating papaya daily also improves digestion.
