Independent candidate Balen Shah has maintained the lead in Kathmandu Metropolitan City, by getting more than 6,000 votes.
He has also increased the difference of votes by getting more than 6,000 votes.
Balen received 6,207 votes. Keshav Sthapit of CPN-UML, who is following him, got 3 thousand 243 votes.
The counting of votes in Kathmandu Metropolitan City Ward No. 2 is coming to an end. With 100 votes remaining to be counted, the victory of CPN-UML ward chairman candidate Rajendra Kumar Shrestha has been ensured. Shrestha got 1 thousand 344 votes. Suryalal Maharjan of Nepali Congress got 900 votes.
UML is leading all the candidate candidates in this ward.
