Balen Shah, the independent candidate for Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) mayor, is maintaining his lead.
Shah received 48,922 votes in the most recent poll results. Sirjana Singh of the Nepali Congress (NC) received 30,025 votes.
Keshav Sthapit, a CPN-UML mayoral candidate, received 29,259 votes.
So far, 148,248 votes for Kathmandu Metropolis have been counted. There are still 44,717 votes to be counted.
Sunita Dangol, the CPN-UML candidate for deputy mayor, has also maintained her lead. She garnered 44,705 votes in the most recent poll, according to the findings.
Rameshwar Shrestha of the CPN (Unified Socialist) earned 15,282 votes for the position of deputy mayor.
