Balen Shah Kathmandu Mayor: The ballots are being counted in Kathmandu Metropolitan City.
Balen Shah, the independent mayoral candidate, has maintained his lead in the latest vote count updates. He has a total of 52,574 votes.
Sirjana Singh of the Nepali Congress (NC) is in the second position with 33,069 votes.
Balen currently has a 19,505 vote advantage over Singh.
Similarly, Keshav Sthapit of the CPN-UML is trailing with 32,612 votes.
