An athletic champion girl has said that she was raped by her boyfriend and then the boyfriend told her that no one would believe the victim. After this, the girl secretly recorded the boyfriend. In the recording, he is admitting the crime. Based on this, the boyfriend was convicted of rape and sentenced to 5 years in jail.

The girl said that her boyfriend felt that he would be saved after committing the crime and no one would be able to braid his hair. But then the girlfriend decided to quietly record the confessional statement of the boyfriend. On the basis of this statement, the court sentenced the accused to 5 years in jail.

The victim, Eli Wilson, was sexually assaulted by her boyfriend, Daniel McFarlane, between December 2017 and February 2018. Daniel was also Eli’s coach at the University of Glasgow. Eli was a talented runner at that time, but due to the action of the coach, his career also got a break.

According to Daily Mail – Daniel had accepted the rape during a conversation on Instagram due to being intoxicated. Daniel had also threatened Eli on Instagram, whose screenshots were shared by Eli on social media.

Ellie, a resident of Glasgow, told that she was constantly facing Daniel’s abuse. Elli said that she was so saddened by the incident happening to her that in 2019 itself, she tried to end her life. After this he was also admitted to the hospital.

A few days after the rape incident, Eli Wilson confessed during a conversation with Daniel that he had raped her. Eli said that while recording, he was also afraid that Daniel would come to know about the recording. There was also a possibility that Daniel would fight again.

Lee said that even on the day of the recording, he tried to strangle me. Later this recording of Daniel became the reason to prove his crime. Last year, Daniel was found guilty of two counts of rape and was sentenced to five years in prison.

Eli and Daniel met in 2017 during student athletics. After this both became ‘best friends’. When Eli started studying at the University of Glasgow, he was also his athletics coach.

Eli complained about Daniel to the police in 2020. After this he was also suspended from the University of Glasgow.
