The Doti district’s Jorayal rural municipality has begun immunizing pupils against the coronavirus at the school level.
Vaccination has begun for students aged 12 to 17 who attend all of the municipality’s schools, according to Gadsera Bidya Bhandari, ANM at the Area Health Office Doti.
The government has chosen to vaccinate all students because the majority of schoolchildren are in danger of contracting the coronavirus.
Students in the appropriate age bracket have been vaccinated at designated vaccination centers in their schools and other localities, according to Govinda Bista, Village Health Coordinator.
Phanendra Khadayat, principal of Navodaya Higher Secondary School in Gadsera, said that since the COVID-19 immunization campaign began, the children have been eager to come for vaccination.
