Twitter’s CEO announced last week that billionaire Elon Musk would join the company’s board of directors.
Elon Musk will not be a member of Twitter‘s board of directors but will play a crucial role in the business’s development, according to Parag Agrawal, who has just been with the firm for a week. In a recent tweet, Agrawal stated, “Elon is our largest shareholder, and we will stay open to his feedback.”
“Elon’s appointment to the board was set to take effect on April 9, but Elon announced that he would no longer be joining the board that morning.
This, I believe, is for the best. Whether or whether our stockholders are on our Board, we have always valued their input. “Elon Musk is our largest shareholder, and we will continue to listen to his suggestions,” Agrawal said. Musk was just named to the board of directors.
Musk is currently the company’s largest stakeholder. Musk bought a 9.2 percent stake in Twitter last week.
