According to paragraph 3.44 of the Flag Code of India, 2022, the flag is allowed to be flown on the vehicles of the President, Vice-President, Governors of States and Lieutenant Governors of Union Territories, Prime Minister, Union Cabinet Minister, Union Minister of State and Union Deputy Minister . Apart from this, Speaker of Lok Sabha, Deputy Chairman of Rajya Sabha, Chairman of State Legislative Councils, Speaker of Legislative Assemblies of State and Union Territories, Judges of Supreme Court and High Court can also put tricolor on the vehicle.
