Gagan Kumar Thapa, the General Secretary of the Nepali Congress, has promised to stop the party’s factionalism.
He went on to say that the party would be administered according to its constitution.
On Monday, General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa addressed a program held by the party in Durgaphanta of Panini Rural Municipality in the district, saying that the moment had come to consider how the poor could be lifted out of poverty and jobs secured. NC would devise a unique technique for generating jobs.
He also asked party officials and cadres to commit time and resources to the preparation of the three tiers of elections that would be held in the coming months: municipal, provincial, and federal.
Pushpa Bhushal, a central member of the Nepali Congress, condemned the Oli-led administration for the country’s backsliding. For the protection of the constitution and the federal republic, NC would not leave any stone unturned.
Meanwhile, 475 cadres and leaders from the CPN UML, including Laxmi Gautam, have joined the Nepali Congress party. At the program, General Secretary Thapa welcomed them to NC.
