As soon as the proceedings of the Parliament started on the third day of the budget session, the MPs of the opposition parties created a ruckus. Due to the ruckus of the opposition, the proceedings of both the houses of the Parliament, Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, had to be postponed. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, who came out of the house after the house was adjourned, attacked the government in a press conference.

Mallikarjun Kharge said that the leaders of all the opposition parties together decided to raise their voice in the House against the scams in the economic policy. He said that regarding this, we have given a notice to suspend the business hour and sought permission for discussion in the House. Kharge said that our demand was that the business hour should be suspended and discussed.

Attacking the government, he said that our notices are always rejected. We are not given a chance to discuss important issues. The Congress President said that that’s why we all together decided that we will raise our voice in the House in one voice and today we will talk about the crores of people who have invested their money in LIC.

He said that today the money of the organization related to the people is being wasted. The Congress President said that people keep their hard earned money in many nationalized banks like State Bank. Their money is also being given to companies, to that company about which Hindenburg’s report has come.

He demanded to set up a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) regarding Hindenburg’s report and conduct an inquiry. Mallikarjun Kharge said that it should be investigated by forming a committee under the leadership of JPC or the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. He also said that after preparing a day-to-day report of the investigation, its information should be made public.
