In northern Gorkha, a tourist was discovered dead. Dongki Jong, a 64-year-old Korean national, has been identified as the dead.
The foreigner was found dead inside his room at the Dharmashala-based Larke Hotel in Chumanuwri Rural Municipality-1, Gorkha, according to Gorkha Deputy Superintendent of Police Lila Raj Lamichhane. He had booked a room at the hotel.
Lamichhane stated that the body has been transferred to the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Kathmandu for a postmortem.
On his journey to Larke Pass through the Manaslu trekking route, the foreigner stopped in Gorkha.
