In Maharashtra, Shiv Sena led by Uddhav Thackeray has entered into an alliance with Vanchit Bahuchan Aghadi (VBA). Regarding this, Leader of Opposition in the Assembly and senior NCP leader Ajit Pawar said that NCP has no objection against VBA. He said that it is for the Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) to decide with whom it wants to form an alliance.

Pawar said it is the Shiv Sena’s prerogative to decide with whom it wants to form an alliance and share seats from its quota. He said that the Shiv Sena (UBT) has a strong network of party workers in Mumbai and we had already informed them that the NCP wanted to contest the civic polls with it.

Ajit Pawar also spoke about the governor

Commenting on Maharashtra Governor BS Koshyari writing a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi instead of the President about his desire to step down, Pawar said since he was appointed by the PM, the governor must have communicated with him.
