Nepal has won the SAFF Women’s U-15 Championship, which is being held in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

In the decisive match in Dhaka, Nepal held Bangladesh to a 1-1 tie. Bangladesh equalized in the 54th minute of the game.

Nepal earned 10 points from four matches in the competition, which was played in a double round-robin format. Nepal remained the tournament’s only unbeaten team. Bangladesh was only allowed seven points.

Nepal has won the SAFF U-15 Women’s Championship

Bhutan finished last out of three teams in the tournament, with no points. Earlier, Nepal defeated Bangladesh 1-0 in the first match.

Nepal has won the title for the second time in women’s football history. Nepal has won the South Asian football championship for the first time.

Nepal previously won the U-14 Regional Championship in Sri Lanka in 2014. Sushila KC’s goal in the 14th minute gave Nepal the lead in the second match against Bangladesh.
