In Nepal, 24 instances of the Omicron coronavirus have been confirmed.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, Omicron verified all 24 samples provided for genome sequencing recently.
250 of the 1146 corona virus-positive samples screened in the previous three weeks were determined to be S-negative. Twenty-four of the S-negative cases had their genes sequenced, and they were all found to be infected with Omicron.
Sangeeta Mishra, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population, confirmed the Omicron cases in a news release on Friday and encouraged all hospitals to remain vigilant against coronavirus transmission.
