In the last 24 hours, Nepal has seen 264 new cases of covid-19 infection.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 241 people tested positive for COVID-19 using RT-PCR, whereas 23 people tested positive via antigen.
According to the Ministry, 112 people in Kathmandu, 29 in Lalitpur, and 8 in Bhaktapur have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of fresh coronavirus cases in the Kathmandu valley to 149.
According to the Ministry, two people have died from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of coronavirus deaths in the country to 11,588.
In the meantime, 260 people have returned home after recovering completely from COVID-19.
