In the last 24 hours, Nepal has seen 540 new cases of covid-19 infection.
478 people tested positive for COVID-19 using the RT-PCR method, while 62 tested positive using the Antigen approach, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
According to the Ministry, 221 people in Kathmandu, 59 in Lalitpur, and 30 in Bhaktapur have tested positive for Coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of fresh coronavirus cases in the Kathmandu valley to 310.
According to the Ministry, one more person has died from Coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of coronavirus deaths in the country to 11,602.
In the meantime, 271 people have returned home after recovering completely from COVID-19.
