The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index rose slightly on Thursday, the penultimate trading day of the week.
Today, the NEPSE index rose 4.94 points to 2,325.45 points. Similarly, the Sensitive index climbed from 2.06 points to 443.14 points.
Today, a total of 3,991,051 units of stock from 231 firms were traded in 36,190 transactions, resulting in a turnover of Rs 1.62 billion.
The stock market dropped by double digits on Wednesday, closing at 2320.51 points. On Tuesday, the index increased by 13.67 points.
The stock prices of the two companies increased by 10% on a circuit-level basis in the market.
On Thursday, the stock prices of Jalpa Samudayik Microfinance and Green Venture Limited, which have been forming a positive circuit since being launched on NEPSE, both increased 10%.
