Camel Contingent News: For the first time in Republic Day 2023, women soldiers of the Border Security Force (BSF) will join the camel squad. Camel squad has been involved in the army for a long time. Camels were included in the Grenadier units of the Indian Army. These units participated in the wars of 1948 and 1965. Camels played a very important role in the Indian Army in the 1971 war. For the first time in 1976, the BSF participated in the Republic Day parade with a camel squad.
