Shah Rukh Khan’s comeback film ‘Pathan’ has done such a feat at the box office, which was difficult to imagine till some time ago. After the lockdown, ‘Pathan’ has brought good days for the Hindi film industry, which is continuously struggling at the box office.
‘Pathan’ did a business of 57 crores on the first day, out of which 55 crores came only from the Hindi version. This was a record opening for Hindi films and films like ‘KGF Chapter 2’ ‘Bahubali 2’ were left behind by ‘Pathan’. With a collection of more than 70 crores on the second day, the film once again made a record and crossed the magical figure of 100 crores in 2 days. But due to the third day being a completely working day, there was a slight impact on the earnings of ‘Pathan’ and its collection was reduced to less than 40 crores.
However, within 3 days, the India collection of ‘Pathan’ crossed 150 crores very comfortably. The net India collection of the film has been Rs 166.5 crore. ‘Pathan’ in Hindi has earned 161 crores and its worldwide gross has reached 313 crores. Now the figures are giving strong evidence that ‘Pathan’ is going to score half-century at the box office again on Saturday.
solid advance booking
Advance booking of more than 20 crores was done on Saturday for ‘Pathan’ which has earned 166.75 crores in 3 days in India. According to the data of Sacnilk, the gross collection from the advance booking of ‘Pathan’ for the fourth day i.e. Saturday stood at Rs 21.71 crore. On Friday, this figure was slightly more than 13 crores for the film. Such a big difference in advance booking is enough to tell that on the fourth day the storm of ‘Pathan’ is again returning at full speed.
trending better than friday
Reports are telling that the shows of ‘Pathan’ are getting more packed on Saturdays as compared to Fridays. While the occupancy of Hindi shows of ‘Pathan’ was 19.33% on Friday afternoon, the figure for Saturday afternoon is more than 37%. That is, it simply means that Shah Rukh’s film is getting more viewers on Saturday than on Friday.
The game of numbers says that on Saturday the collection of ‘Pathan’ is going to cross the figure of 50 crores comfortably once again. The collection of the film can go up to Rs 53 to 55 crores on the fourth day. ‘Pathan’ has created a fierce atmosphere on single screens and depending on these theatres, the collection on the fourth day can be more than 55 crores.
The sum total of all the maths means that ‘Pathan’, which has so far earned more than 166 crores in India in Hindi, will cross the figure of 200 crores with Saturday’s earnings. And this charisma of crossing 200 crores is going to happen not only in the India collection but also in the Hindi collection of the film. The worldwide collection of ‘Pathan’ is estimated to cross 100 crores again on the fourth day and the film’s worldwide gross can cross the figure of 400 crores in 4 days.
Shah Rukh may not have done any film in the lead role after ‘Zero’ in 2018, but despite this gap, there has been no decrease in his stardom. Shahrukh and Bollywood fans have been claiming this thing, but after topping the game of statistics, concrete figures will also come to the fans in support of this claim.
