On Saturday, the makers of the award-winning historical gangster drama ‘Peaky Blinders’ released the much-anticipated trailer for season 6 of the program as a New Year’s gift to their fans.
Cillian Murphy reprises his role as Tommy Shelby in the one-minute thirty-six-second long interesting trailer, looking for a way for the namesake Birmingham-based tribe to peacefully rest.
Anya Taylor-Joy will also make a guest appearance in the final season, reprising her role as Gina Gray. Peaky Blinders
The last season will also feature Tom Hardy, Paul Anderson, Finn Cole, Sophie Rundle, and Stephen Graham, among others.
Helen McCrory, who played Aunty Polly on the show, died in April of this year. The fate of her character was expected to be revealed in the trailer, but it was not.
Knight, the show’s creator, and writer have stated about the sixth season, “Peaky is back, and he’s bigger than ever. Following the forced production halt caused by the Covid epidemic, we find the family in grave danger, with the stakes never being higher. Anthony Byrne, who directed Season 5 to critical acclaim, returns as a director, while Nick Goding produces. Knight, Caryn Mandabach, Jamie Glazebrook, David Mason, Anthony Byrne, and Cillian Murphy serve as executive producers.
‘Peaky Blinders,’ a BAFTA award-winning drama, is now available on Netflix. The last season’s release date has yet to be revealed, but it has been teased for early 2022.
