The printing of ballot papers for the upcoming municipal elections has begun.

The Janak Education Material Center has announced that the printing of ballot papers has begun in the Center’s printing press.

According to Surya Prasad Aryal, the Election Commission’s deputy spokesperson, the printing of mock ballot papers was completed on Thursday, and the printing of ballot papers to be used in polling centers will begin today.

Yesterday, approximately 180,000 mock ballot papers were printed for the voter’s education program, and preparations to print approximately 20 million ballot papers began today, with the local polls scheduled for May 13.
