How to make Rava Kesari: Method for making Rava Kesari:
To make Rava Kesari, first put the pan on the gas and heat it by adding 2 tbsp ghee. When hot, add cashews and roast for 1 minute. Also lightly roast the raisins. After roasting keep them aside.
Lower the flame of the gas and then start roasting by adding semolina. Fry it while stirring continuously. When the color of semolina turns golden, turn off the gas.
Now take a pan and start boiling water in it. When the water boils well, add semolina to it and start stirring. Stir it continuously until semolina absorbs all the water. Keep in mind that there should not be a single lump in it.
After this add sugar as per taste and mix. When the sugar dissolves, put the soaked saffron in the semolina. Now add ghee and stir continuously. Do not let even a single lump fall in it. Now cover the pan so that the semolina gets cooked.
When semolina gets cooked in 2-4 minutes, add dry fruits and mix. Now you have to stir the semolina for a long time. Until it separates from the pan. Your Rava Kesari is ready.
