Eagerly waiting for Karan Johar to return as a director through ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’. Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt’s film has gained popularity ever since it was announced. But fans will have to wait a little longer for the film as it has now been postponed to July 28. The film was earlier scheduled to release on April 28. Meanwhile, the release date of Rajkumar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar’s film Rush has also changed.
This news has been shared by the official Twitter page of the film’s production house Dharma Productions. He shared a new title poster with the new release date and wrote, ‘Rocky and Rani’s family are getting ready and watch this unique story of love! Bringing back the magic, love and larger-than-life entertainment – #RockyAurRaniKiPremKahani in cinemas, 28th July 2023!’
The makers of Ranveer and Alia’s film have avoided the film’s clash with Mani Ratnam’s biggie ‘Ponniyin Selvan: Part 2’, the second film in the veteran filmmaker’s epic Tamil franchise. This is not the first time that the release of ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ has been postponed. The film was earlier scheduled to release on February 10, 2023 but was later postponed to April 28.
