With the opening of Gautam Buddha International Airport, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba declared that the country had entered a new era in aviation.
On Monday, Prime Minister Deuba stated the Gautam Buddha International Airport would contribute significantly to tourism, economic development, and job creation in the Lumbini region.
On the occasion, Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand stated that the airport was developed with the assistance of Lumbini residents and business owners.
Prem Ale, Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation stated that the airport’s operation would boost the country’s development.
He stated unequivocally that the development of international airports will boost the aviation industry much more.
