Two persons were killed when a passenger bus collided with them at Tarahara, Itahari Sub Metropolitan City-20, Sunsari district.
Santosh Rai, a 26-year-old motorcyclist, and pillion rider Abhi Rai, 20, both of Khandbari municipality-7, were killed.
Santosh and Abhi, who were critically injured, died while receiving treatment at the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan.
At 7 p.m. yesterday, a bus, Pradesh 1-02-001 Kha 8196, traveling from Itahari to Dharan collided with a motorcycle, Ko 27 Pa 219.
The bus and its driver have been detained by police, who are investigating the incident.
