A five-storey building collapsed in Uttar Pradesh’s capital Lucknow on Tuesday evening. There was a stir after the collapse of a five-storey building in Alaya Apartment of Hazratganj area. Along with NDRF and SDRF, the army team also engaged in relief and rescue work, and 16 people were pulled out of the debris. Out of this, two women died.
An inquiry has been ordered regarding the construction of Alaya Apartment. The NOC issued to Alaya Apartment will also be investigated. In this case, Nawazish Manzoor, son of Samajwadi Party (SP) MLA Shahid Manzoor from Meerut, was detained. The two women who died in the apartment collapse are from the family of SP spokesperson Abbas Haider.
SP leader Abbas Haider’s mother Begum Haider and wife Uzma Abbas have died. There was an uproar in the civil hospital regarding the dead body of both. SP spokesperson Abbas Haider alleges that a farce is being played in the name of rescue, the rescue operation was not done properly, drill was not done where told.

A few hours after the earthquake in Lucknow on Tuesday afternoon, the building named Alaya Apartment collapsed. The news of the collapse of the building reached towards the forest fire in the city, then police and administration teams reached the spot in a hurry. Relief and rescue work was started very fast.
Teams of NDRF and SDRF got involved in the operation to save lives and even the army team was dropped in this mission. About 14 to 15 families lived in this five-storey building built on Wazir Hasan Road in Lucknow. The five-storey Alaya Apartment had a total of 12 flats, with a penthouse at the top.
This incident happened around 6:30 in the evening. After the building accident, the police have detained Nawajish Manzoor, son of Samajwadi Party (SP) MLA and former minister Shahid Manzoor from Meerut, because Nawajish Manzoor is said to be the owner of the building that has collapsed and the building was built by Yazdan Builder. has.
According to the police, water was leaking in the ground floor parking and the work of laying pipes was going on, digging was being done with the drilling machine. It is feared that during this time the foundation grid of the building was damaged, due to which the entire building collapsed like a pack of cards.
