A bike rider hit a seven-year-old girl in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh. He died in the hospital during treatment. The relatives of the deceased have accused the police of negligence. It is alleged that the family kept crying outside the police station gate for hours. But, instead of taking action against the accused, other policemen including the SHO made him run away from the police station.
The case pertains to Parsava village of Amethi Kotwali. Here on Wednesday, a high speed bike rider hit a seven-year-old girl Ruhi Tiwari. After this, the family members hurriedly took the girl to a nearby hospital. From there, the girl was referred to the Medical College for better treatment. He died during treatment there.
Relatives reached Amethi Kotwali with the dead body of the girl
After the death, the family reached Amethi Kotwali with the dead body of the girl child. After this, the relatives started protesting by keeping the dead body at the gate. The protest went on for a long time, but no policeman reached the spot. After about an hour, SHO Arun Dwivedi reached the spot and drove away the crying relatives from the police station.
Angered by the behavior of the police, the relatives went home keeping the dead body of the girl on an e-rickshaw. The relatives told that a bike rider had hit our girl under the influence of alcohol. No one even took care of our girl for eight days.
We were not given any financial assistance in any way and the police also did not take any action against the accused. At the same time, in the case, Kotwali in-charge Arun Dwivedi told that the bike rider has been caught. Further action will be taken on receipt of Tahrir.
