The Election Commission will distribute voter ID cards for new voters today, Wednesday, and tomorrow (Thursday).
The commission will distribute voter ID cards on Wednesday and Thursday to those who have registered their names on the voter list for the first time and applied for identity cards at the district election office.
The commission has stated that voter identity cards will be distributed from the concerned polling stations. The commission has stated that the election has been arranged in all the constituencies so that all the citizens whose names are on the voters’ list within the 6,743 wards that have been divided into wards after obtaining citizenship.
Voting for the upcoming local elections is taking place across the country on Friday, May 13 this year. The silence period started on Tuesday night. This period will be in force till the local level election on May 13.
