Nepal: From today, the influence of the westerly low-pressure system and the low-pressure created near India’s Bihar state is progressively fading.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD), the effects of this system will gradually fade, and the sun will shine in the afternoon.
Light rain is raining in several sections of the country this morning, according to the Division. In a few areas in the high hills and mountains, light snow is falling.
In the afternoon, the weather will be partly cloudy to mostly cloudy, with the possibility of light rain in a few locations in the hilly region and light to moderate snowfall in some parts of the high hilly and mountainous region.
Similarly, light snowfall is forecast in a few locations in Province 1’s high hills and mountainous region, as well as in the Bagmati and Gandaki rivers at night.
The westerly low-pressure system that arrived from western Nepal last Sunday brought rain and snow to the country on Wednesday.
