At Tribhuvan International Airport, a young woman was caught with one round of ammunition on her flight to Japan.
Sovita Nepali, 27, of Bhanu Municipality-7, Tanahu, was arrested, according to TIA sources.
Nepali was apprehended by the International Airport Security Office’s Criminal Investigation Branch and taken to Gaushala Police Circle for further investigation.
On Sunday, Nepali was flying to Japan through Malaysia on a Nepal Airlines flight.
A cartridge of ammo was discovered in her little handbag after an X-ray inspection.
